Artist Authorization and Release Form.
FOUND is a project created and organized by Ira Tattelman. The results are temporary, community-made, found-object sculptures that will be on display in Tanner Park, Eckington, Washington, DC. The project, supported by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (DCCAH), includes workshops and exhibition days during March and April 2024.
As a condition of participation, you agree to:
(a) create original work using found materials and not infringe any other person’s or entity’s rights.
(b) grant the organizers license to display, stream, publish, and otherwise use the participant’s name, artwork, photograph, video, voice and/or likeness, and statements regarding this project for promotional and/or any other purpose in all media, including the FOUND website, social media pages (e.g., Instagram and similar sites), and printed materials.
(c) release, discharge, and forever hold harmless the organizers from any and all claims, actions, damages, demands, arising out of, or in connection with, the participant’s participation in this project.
Ira Tattelman and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities are not responsible or liable for:
(d) any loss, injury, sickness, liability, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in this project.
(e) any failures of any kind or any incorrect or inaccurate information related to the workshops or exhibits.
An Authorization/Release Form must be filled out for each person participating. By completing this form, you agree to the terms outlined here and consent to participate and abide by the terms of the Authorization/Release Form. Minors must have a parent or guardian complete their form. Click below.
